My name is Clare Bennett. I work, live and play on Wadjuk Noongar boodjar.
This blog is written on Aboriginal land, and I recognise and admire the strength, resilience and capacity of Noongar people in this land.
I teach high school science in Perth, Western Australia. I’ve been a teacher since 2003 and my edu-passions are Biology and high-impact instruction for all students.
This blog will focus on how I bridge the knowing-doing gap by working with the alterable variables in my teaching practice – taking knowledge from research and the practices of other expert teachers into my own classroom with real students.
